Animal Crossing: New Horizons Player recreates Rose’s Farm From Detroit: Become Human

A fan of both Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Detroit: Become Human combines the two fandoms to recreate a location in the game.

The base game of Nintendo’s life sim, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, has always given its players plenty of options to customize their desert island vacation. When the free 2.0 update and Happy Home Paradise DLC were released in 2021, fans had even more options to customize the island their villagers called home. Recently a fan of both Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Detroit: Become Human married the two fandoms together to recreate Rose’s Farm, a location from the adventure title, on their ACNH island.


Players off Animal Crossing: New Horizons seem to be very adept at recreating locations on their island excursions. Fans take inspiration from both real-world locations and their favorite locations in other video game franchises. Some fans have recreated many Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild places in Animal Crossing: New Horizonswhile other players seem to enjoy using themes from movies such as Jurassic Park or Shrek. With so many iconic locations in Detroit: Become Human, ACNH players will likely be inspired to reproduce them in the life sim title as well.

Recently sharing their playthrough Detroit: Become HumanReddit user 19netta posted a photo of their recreation of Rose’s Farm in their Animal Crossing: New Horizons game. Commenting on the thread, the Redditor shared that they had just completed the adventure game’s Midnight Train chapter. Fans of Detroit: Become Human will probably remember that Rose’s Farm is an important location in this chapter, as it is where Rose Chapman helps deviant androids escape and cross the border into Canada.

According to Redditor, they used Animal Crossing: New Horizons Happy Home Paradise DLC to recreate Rose’s Farm. They also fine-tuned the colors of the photo they posted to capture the snowy atmosphere Detroit: Become Human nature. Answers to 19netta’s thread shared Redditors’ love for both games they featured. Some even asked how they could place a vehicle on their island. The Redditor shared that they were able to purchase them from the everyday items found in the Nook Shopping app.

With Detroit: Become Human still has a few more chapters after Midnight Train, it’s possible that the Redditor might be inspired more by the other locations in the adventure sim. Hopefully they will draw on that inspiration Animal Crossing: New Horizonsas both games’ communities will likely appreciate seeing their detailed work on their desert island vacation.
